A lane
The Host lane
Belonging, friendship, and making people feel welcome. Greeting by name, setting a place, and the kind of hospitality that turns a house into a squad. Lanes never change the bones of the week; they add one concrete tilt toward what your kid loves, at every age.

You might be here ifโฆ
- Lights up when someone walks in the door
- Sets places for stuffed animals and wants everyone to have a cup
- Notices who doesn't have a partner and goes to them
Not sure? Start in Explorer. Homie watches what your kid returns to and you can switch lanes anytime from your Family page.
How the lane tilts every stage
- ๐ฑ Newborn Squad
A welcome face at every feed: they see you, you see them, then the bottle or the breast.
- ๐ผ Infant Squad
A hello song when anyone enters the room; they practice the wave that means 'you came.'
- ๐งธ Crawler Squad
Wave hi and bye at every door; a stuffed animal gets a place at the snack tray.
- ๐ฃ Young Toddler Squad
They set the cups and call people to the snack by name. Hosting is a real job.
- โ๏ธ Toddler Squad
They greet by name at circle, set a place at snack, and greet Showcase guests at the door.
- ๐จ Preschool Squad
They run the restaurant welcome and the puppet-show usher job: names, seats, 'we're glad you came.'
- ๐ Early Elementary Squad
They plan one gathering a month: invites, a snack, a job for every guest. Belonging is the project.
- ๐ฌ Elementary Squad
They design how the pod gathers: a salon, a dinner, a critique night with real hospitality jobs.
- ๐งญ Middle Squad
They run a real gathering each quarter: a dinner, a salon, or a fundraiser with a guest list and a why.
- ๐ High School Squad
Hospitality, event, and community-building pathways: they run real gatherings and write the room into the record.
Twelve weeks of Host tilts
Week 1
๐ Hello, Squad!
Greet every friend at Hello Circle by name this week. The Host's job is to say 'you came!' before the song starts.
Week 2
๐ Color Splash
Color-share: they pick a color and offer that crayon to a friend first, then take one for themselves.
Week 3
๐ Wheels & Roads
Drive-through: they 'serve' the ride-on cars at the pit stop with a wave and a snack ticket.
Week 4
๐ง Water & Weather
Invite a stuffie in from the rain; make a dry towel nest and a cup of pretend tea.
Week 5
๐ฆ Bugs & Butterflies
Bug welcome party: a leaf plate and a water drop for every creature you find. They do the inviting.
