Pod Squad started in South Florida as four families who wanted their toddlers to have real friends, real jobs, and real adventures. It grew into a helping hand for the first years: what to do today, what to feed them, where to go this weekend, for every stage from your first days home to their first day of school.
The story
Pod Squad was founded by Christopher McGinnis in West Boca Raton after a simple problem: a group of friends with two-year-olds wanted something between staying home alone and sending a toddler to a full-day program. Nothing on the market gave them a curriculum, a calendar, and a way to run it together.
So we wrote one. Season after season of home days, play days, and adventures, twelve weeks at a time, tested in real living rooms, with the printables, shopping lists, and hosting board that make it actually happen. Then we built the portal that runs it from a phone so a family never has to start over.
Today Pod Squad is an app in a mom's pocket: activities, snacks, printables, and places near you for every stage, newborn through preschool, a growth profile for every kid, reminders that keep a family (or a squad of families) on the same page, and a community of parents who show up for each other. These are the most formative years, and nobody should have to wing them off TikTok.
