Nothing to start. Most activities use what's already in your kitchen. Families doing preschool at home often add a one-time Home Starter Kit (about $150–250 if you own nothing, much less if you have the basics) and an optional Wonder Lab kit. It depends on the stage, and every stage is made for your kid's exact age. A baby's week is short daily moments that fit between feeds and naps, a note on what's normal this week, and feeding and sleep. A toddler's week has a theme, a Squad Job, a Wonder Lab, books, songs, snacks, printables, and a place to go. After daycare you get one 30–45 minute block a day from it; on weekends, a Saturday adventure and a Sunday project. On a home rhythm, toddlers get the whole day planned: Monday and Wednesday at home (seven short blocks), Tuesday with your squad, Thursday on an adventure, Friday Spanish Play Day, and every toddler day has a 30-minute condensed version for the mornings that get away from you. Preschoolers get project weeks with letters and numbers inside the play.

Everything opens with its month: binders, printables and holiday pages. This month is open, and so is every month since you joined. Next month opens on the 1st, or on the 20th before it when you're already paid into it, so you can print and shop ahead. Later months show what's coming (the theme, each kid's topics, the holidays) with the day they open.

On a toddler day, open the day and tap “Busy today? Try the 30-minute version.” Circle, the letter worksheet, and one main activity. That's the whole morning. The full two hours is still there when you want it.

Never during your 7-day trial. You add a card to start it and pay $0 that day; we remind you three days before your first payment, and you can cancel anytime before then from your Family page. After that it's monthly or yearly until you cancel.

Florida's PEP scholarship is for kindergarten through 12th grade, and Pod Squad is for the years before kindergarten, so it doesn't apply.

The part of Pod Squad for meeting other grown-ups raising little kids. A two-minute profile (first name, a photo, where you are in the little years, what you're here for), then a deck of the people within 30 miles, nearest first. Wave at the ones you'd text; a wave both ways opens a chat. Groups by stage, topic, and town hold the questions, and meetups put a real place and time on them. It's free: 10 waves a day, no card.

Everything free members get, plus no wave limit, who waved at you, undo on your last answer, and a free boost every week (your card at the top of nearby decks for a day). A boost can also be bought on its own.

Every member signs in with a code texted to their phone. Profiles show first names and kids' ages, never kids' names; location is rounded to about a mile and shown only as a distance band. Report and Hide are on every profile, message, and post, and a person on our team looks at every report within a day. Optional ID verification (a government ID and a selfie, checked by Stripe) adds a badge.

Yes. Profiles say mom, dad, or grown-up, and there's a Dads group. Most of Connect is moms, and the deck says who's who.

Yes. Join Connect free with your due month; your card says expecting, and the Expecting group is waiting. When the baby arrives, the newborn plan is ready the week they do.

Your invite link is in your portal from day one. Send it to the friends and family you want on your calendar; they join through it and land right on your squad's calendar. We don't match you with strangers.

Shares the invite link, approves requests, posts announcements and the Friday teacher note, picks the squad's hosting jobs (switch any off, add your own under Hosting → Jobs), and keeps the hosting board moving. The curriculum and weekly releases come from us.

A free membership while 4+ families in the pod are members, plus 10% off their bill for every family they refer, down to $20/month.

Every family you invite who becomes a member takes 10% off your monthly bill for as long as they stay a member. It stacks, and your bill never goes below $20/month. If a referred family cancels, that 10% discount ends.

Only the families in your pod see grown-up names and phone numbers on the roster and hosting board, plus photos your pod uploads. Other pods see nothing about you.
