1. What we provide

Pod Squad provides a play-based learning membership for families with kids from newborn through preschool: plans sized to each child's age, printables, worksheets, experiment cards, materials lists, outing guides, a website and a phone app, and, if you join one, a private space for your squad of families (hosting sign-ups, photos, notes). We provide ideas and materials for parents and caregivers. We do not provide childcare, supervision, or instruction to children, and we are not a school.

2. Membership, billing, and automatic renewal

Membership is priced per child at the rate shown when you sign up, with sibling and squad discounts applied automatically. New families receive a free trial of 7 days. We ask for a payment method to start the trial and charge nothing until it ends; when it ends, your membership begins and the card is charged the price shown at checkout unless you cancel before the trial's last day. One free trial per family. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, or yearly if you chose an annual plan) and your payment method on file is charged the then-current price until you cancel. Adding a child adds a seat at the sibling price (prorated on your next bill); children 6 and older are free. Annual plans are billed once per year for 10 months of service and provide 12 months of access. We remind you by email before your free trial ends (and by app notification if you've turned it on), and we will notify you before any price increase takes effect. If a payment fails, we retry and may pause access until it succeeds. If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, that store handles billing and renewal under its own terms.

3. Cancellation, pause, and refunds

You can cancel anytime from your Family page or by emailing us (a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is canceled in your phone's subscription settings). Cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not prorate partial periods. You can pause your membership instead; while paused you are not charged and the portal is locked, but your pod spot, kids, notes, photos, and progress are kept. Guarantee: if your first paid month is not right for your family, email us within 30 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full. Beyond the guarantee, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Gift memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable once redeemed.

4. Referral discounts, partner codes, and gift codes

Referral discounts are a percentage off your recurring bill for each family you referred while they remain a paying member, subject to a minimum monthly price we publish; they adjust automatically when referred families join, pause, or cancel, have no cash value, are not paid out in cash, and may be changed prospectively. Partner and creator codes are governed by a separate partner agreement. Referral discounts may also be adjusted if the referred membership is refunded within the guarantee window. Gift codes provide the stated number of months of membership for the stated number of children, do not renew automatically, and expire if not redeemed within 24 months of purchase. We may cancel credits or codes obtained through fraud or abuse.

5. Your account

You log in with a code texted to a mobile number on your family account. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity under your logins. A family account may include up to four grown-ups; every grown-up must be a parent or trusted caregiver of the children on the account. Pod leads and our team can remove accounts that violate these terms.

6. Using the materials

The curriculum, printables, worksheets, text, and design are owned by Pod Squad and licensed to you for personal, in-home use with your own family and your pod while your membership is active. You may print as many copies as your household and pod need. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or use the materials to run a paid program for others without our written permission.

7. Safety and your responsibility

Every activity is written for your child's age, with taste-safe sensory materials for little ones and notes on choking hazards, water, and heat. You know your child. You are solely responsible for supervising your children, checking for allergies, choosing appropriate activities, and following the safety notes. Field trips, host homes, and pod gatherings are arranged by families, not by us, and you participate at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pod Squad is not liable for injuries, illness, property damage, or losses arising from activities, gatherings, or use of the materials.

8. Pod content and community

Photos, notes, and sign-ups you post are visible to the families in your pod. Only upload photos you have the right to share and that other families in your pod are comfortable with. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, or harmful. We may remove content that violates these terms.

9. Text messages

By joining you agree to receive text messages from us for login codes and pod-related updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of updates (you will still receive login codes when you request them).

10. Development information is not medical advice

Milestone checklists, Homie suggestions and answers (our AI assistant), and any health-adjacent content are general educational information adapted from public sources. They are not medical, developmental, or nutritional advice and are not a screening or diagnostic tool. Always consult your child's pediatrician or a qualified professional with questions about your child's health or development.

11. Changes, governing law, and disputes

We may update the program, pricing (with notice before your next billing date), and these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If we have a dispute, both of us agree to first try to resolve it by contacting each other in good faith; any dispute not resolved within 30 days will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and each party consents to that venue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
