A lane
The Chef lane
Cooking as the curriculum. Real food, real tools, the kitchen as the sensory lab, and healthy meals your kid helped make and therefore eats. Lanes never change the bones of the week; they add one concrete tilt toward what your kid loves, at every age.

You might be here ifโฆ
- Wants to stir, pour, and taste everything
- Happiest at the counter on a learning tower
- Eats what they helped make
Not sure? Start in Explorer. Squad Brain watches what your kid returns to and you can switch lanes anytime from your Family page.
How the lane tilts every stage
- ๐ฑ Newborn Squad
Feeding is the whole lane: latch, pacing, volumes, and a calm grown-up at the bottle.
- ๐ผ Infant Squad
Starting solids the current-guidance way, with the allergen schedule and iron in mind.
- ๐งธ Crawler Squad
Finger foods sized to the pincer grasp and the family table from day one.
- ๐ฃ Young Toddler Squad
Snack plates they assemble; three colors, one protein, no pressure.
- โ๏ธ Toddler Squad
The snack is the lesson: a themed, kid-made snack every day and the market stand job.
- ๐จ Preschool Squad
A recipe a week the kids actually cook; lunchbox packing as a job.
- ๐ Early Elementary Squad
They cook one dinner a week; the grocery list is the math homework.

Cooking for the family twice a week, a budget, and the science of what food does.
- ๐งญ Middle Squad
Sports nutrition, meal planning for the family, and reading food media critically.
- ๐ High School Squad
Culinary or nutrition pathways: certifications, a real kitchen job, and food science.
Twelve weeks of Chef tilts in the Toddler Squad
Week 1
๐ Hello, Squad!
Wash-Up Station becomes wash-the-fruit: a colander, a basin, and grapes cut lengthwise for snack.
Week 2
๐ Color Splash
Rainbow snack plate: one fruit or vegetable per color. They place each one; you name it.
Week 3
๐ Wheels & Roads
Wheel-shaped snacks: cucumber wheels, banana wheels, cracker wheels. Roll them across the plate.
Week 4
๐ง Water & Weather
Make weather in a cup: blue yogurt sky, whipped-cream clouds, blueberry rain. Eat the weather.
Week 5
๐ฆ Bugs & Butterflies
Ants on a log with raisins, then a caterpillar made of grapes on a skewer with the point cut off.
Week 6
๐ Farm & Food
This is the Chef's week: farm to plate. Crack an egg, stir it, watch it cook. Butter a slice of bread from the market.
Week 7
๐ Community Helpers
Snack chef is a helper job: they set out the cups and hand the snack to each friend by name.
Week 8
๐จ Build It!
Build a snack: cracker bricks, cream-cheese mortar, cucumber roof. Then eat the building.
Week 9
๐ข Ocean & Beach
Goldfish crackers in a blue-Jell-O ocean. Fish out the fish with a spoon.
Week 10
๐ฆ Wild Animals
Animal-shaped sandwiches with a cookie cutter; they press, you lift.
Week 11
๐ฅง Thankful Harvest
Pumpkin muffins from scratch: they measure, dump, and stir. Gratitude for the hands that cooked.
Week 12
๐ Lights, Music & Celebration
Showcase station: a tasting table of twelve weeks of snacks, one bite each, with tiny signs.
